Epoxidized Linseed Oil or ELO as it is known is a naturally-derived plasticizer used to stabiliize PCV and other thermoplastic chloride compositions.

ELO thus reduces the hardness and improves the flexibility of PCV and other polymers. Derived from flax, which is widely available and inexpensive to propagate, ELO is celebrated as a useful and cost-effective industrial solution.
